In 2006, Megan Slocum joined the Anam Cara family as an assistant teacher, and became a TCRG in 2011.
Anam Cara, which is Gaelic for “soul friend”,
seeks to cultivate a lifelong love of Irish Dance and to foster friendships

Our classes are open to both competitive
and recreational dancers of all ages and all levels, and are taught by John
Lydon, Casey Cummings and Megan Slocum.
The teachers have been long time dancers in the New England Region and
have competed and won numerous titles in local, regional, national, and world
championships. During their careers, they have danced alongside the
Chieftans and Black 47, and have performed at the White House,
Foxwoods Resort and Casino, Carnegie Hall in
